Meet the Weaver

I’ve been creating for as long as I can remember. What started as a lifelong passion for art evolved into HUES’ The Stubborn Stitch; a space built around creativity, community, and growth. Inspired by my son, I now use rugs, workshops, and shared experiences to help people turn mistakes into memories that last long after the project is finished.

Here, creativity is more than art; it’s a tool for confidence, connection, and real-world growth. From helping teens develop practical life and creative problem-solving skills often missed in traditional education, to creating nature- and art-based experiences for children, to leading creative engagement activities for seniors, my mission has always been bigger than rugs.

This is a space where people of all ages can slow down, explore, create freely, and remember that growth often begins the moment we stop being afraid to make mistakes.

Because here, everyone is an artist.
